Basic Metabolic Rate depends on various factors, some of them being age, gender, body composition, genetic and various external and internal factors.

You can maintain a fast and healthy metabolic rate if you follow a proper balanced and nutritious diet, and if you combine it with physical activity.

Aside from eating the right foods to boost your metabolic rate, there are other routines regarding timing and quantity of food intake that can affect your metabolism.

- Have plenty of fish

- Minimize processed food intake

- Maximize natural foods rich in fiber

- Slowly increase your intake of green leafy vegetables.
